For those malayalees who love fish, Kanava is one of the most favorites for many. It is yummy and really tasty for sure. Here celebrity culinary expert Lekshmi Nair shares the Kanava recipe.

Before learning how to prepare Kanava pepper fry, let's have a quick look at the ingredients.


Ingredients:
  • Squid ( Kanava) - 1/2 Kg
  • Turmeric powder - 3/4 tsp + 1/4 tsp
  • Green chillies - 4 nos
  • Salt( according to taste )
  • Curry Leaves
  • coconut oil - 3 tbs
  • Garlic ( Crushed ) - 2 tbs
  • ginger ( Crushed ) - 2 tbs
  • green chillies - 5 nos (Finely chopped)
  • Big Onion - 2 nos ( half Slices )
  • coconut ( chopped) - 1/2 Cup
  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Big Onion - 2 Medium ( chopped )
